- What is sound therapy?
- Sound therapy uses instruments like singing bowls, gongs, and drums to create vibrations that promote relaxation and healing. The sounds and vibrations can help reduce stress, ease tension, and support emotional well-being.
- What happens during a sound bath?
- You lie down comfortably (mats and blankets are provided) while a variety of instruments are played around you. The sounds create a deeply relaxing, meditative experience. No prior experience is needed.
- What should I bring?
- Wear comfortable clothing and bring anything that helps you feel cosy — an eye mask, extra blanket, or pillow. Water is recommended before and after the session.
- Is sound therapy suitable for everyone?
- Sound therapy is gentle and suitable for most people. However, it may not be suitable during the first trimester of pregnancy, for those with sound-triggered epilepsy, or anyone with a pacemaker. Please get in touch if you have concerns.
- How long is a session?
- Group sound baths typically last 60–75 minutes. One-to-one sessions are 60 minutes, including time for reflection at the beginning and end.
- Where are sessions held?
- Community sound baths are held at various venues in Brighton and Hove. One-to-one sessions can be arranged at a suitable location. Details are confirmed upon booking.
- How do I book?
- You can book via the contact page, by email, or through Eventbrite for community sound baths. Private event enquiries are welcome any time.
